Terms and conditions details
Service overview
Akashr (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a reflection and
wellness application that generates personalised readings based on birth data and
astrological or numerological frameworks. Content is informational and
entertainment-oriented. Nothing on Akashr constitutes medical, psychological,
legal, financial, or therapeutic advice. Always consult a qualified professional
for matters of health, law, or finance.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract where you
live to use Akashr. By creating or continuing to use an account, you confirm that
you meet these requirements. Akashr is not directed to children or teenagers.
Account and access
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at
contact@akashr.com if you
suspect unauthorized access. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that show
signs of misuse or compromise.
Subscriptions and payments
Akashr offers a free trial and optional paid subscriptions. Paid subscriptions
renew automatically at the rate disclosed at the time of purchase unless cancelled
before the renewal date. All fees are non-refundable except where required by
applicable law. We will provide at least 14 days’ notice of pricing changes.
Manage or cancel subscriptions at any time through your account settings.
Credits and usage limits
Akashr uses a credit system to meter access to readings and chat features.
The specific allowances, limits, and prices that apply to your plan are shown
in the app at the time of purchase and in your account. The following rules
apply across plans:
- Subscription allowance. Each paid plan includes a periodic
credit allowance (for example, a per-week allowance and a shorter rolling
limit). Unused allowance does not carry over between periods.
- Credit packs. One-time credit packs may be purchased
separately. Pack credits are valid until the expiry date shown at purchase.
Purchasing a new pack while an existing pack is active stacks the balances;
the later expiry date applies. Pack credits are not subject to the recurring
subscription limits.
- Bonus credits. Bonus credits may be earned through
referrals and other in-app actions. Bonus credits do not expire and are not
subject to the recurring subscription limits.
- Consumption order. When a reading or chat message is
requested, subscription allowance is drawn first, then pack credits, then
bonus credits.
- Conversation limits. Each conversation has a maximum
number of messages that depends on your plan. The applicable limit is shown
in the app.
- Credit costs per action. The credit cost of a given
action (a reading, a chat message, or another metered feature) is shown in
the app at the time you take that action. We do not publish a fixed schedule
of costs here because they may be adjusted as features change; the amount
shown in the app at the time of the action is authoritative.
- Best-effort processing. We process each metered action
on a best-effort basis. We aim not to charge a credit for an action that
fails to complete or that fails validation before returning a result to you.
However, metering, billing, and generation involve multiple interdependent
systems, and we do not guarantee that every charge is applied without error.
If you believe a credit was charged incorrectly, contact
contact@akashr.com; reversal or
reissue of credits in such cases is at our discretion and is not owed as of
right.
We may adjust plan allowances, credit-pack sizes, or prices from time to time
and will provide notice as described under “Modifications to these Terms” below.
Service reliability and system degradation
Akashr depends on multiple interdependent systems, including calculation
engines, underlying AI infrastructure, and third-party services, some of
which are outside our control. We continuously work to improve the accuracy
and availability of these systems, but we do not guarantee that the service,
or any individual reading or response, will be uninterrupted, timely, or free
of error. From time to time the service may be degraded, delayed, incomplete,
or unavailable, including due to upstream provider outages, insufficient
input data, rate limiting, or maintenance. We are not liable for any loss
arising from such degradation or unavailability, beyond any discretionary
credit remedy described under “Credits and usage limits” above.
AI-generated content
Readings and conversations use artificial intelligence. Akashr is not human,
conscious, sentient, reciprocal, or capable of forming a relationship with you.
It is not a clinician, counsellor, crisis service, emergency service, or substitute
for relationships and professional care. Outputs can sound confident, intimate,
or highly personalised while still being inaccurate, incomplete, fabricated, or
inconsistent. Repetition, personalisation, confidence, and emotional resonance do
not establish that an output is true.
Astrological, symbolic, oracle, mediumship, and spiritual material is offered for
reflection and entertainment. Akashr cannot verify spirits, contact with deceased
people, hidden messages or agents, surveillance, supernatural powers, missions,
fate, or any other claim about objective reality. Do not rely on an output for
treatment or medication, personal safety, relationships, employment, legal or
financial matters, or any other consequential decision.
Emotional wellbeing and emergency limitations
Stop using Akashr and contact a trusted person or qualified professional if the
service contributes to fear, confusion, fixation, sleeplessness, isolation,
compulsion, feeling watched, or feeling commanded to act. Akashr does not
continuously monitor conversations or support messages. It cannot determine your
location, call emergency services, perform a welfare check, or guarantee that a
crisis or safety risk will be detected.
Automated safety systems may miss, misclassify, or interrupt content. We may limit
or stop a feature when a safety system identifies elevated risk, but this is not a
promise of monitoring or intervention. If you or someone else is in immediate
danger in Australia, call 000. For 24/7 crisis support in Australia, call Lifeline
on 13 11 14. Elsewhere, contact your local emergency services or crisis service.
Intellectual property
All software, design, text, graphics, and other content comprising the Akashr
service are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual
property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable
licence to access and use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any
part of the service without our prior written consent.
Other people’s data
Akashr lets you manually add a custom person and use their birth data for supported
birth-chart, compatibility, relationship, and conversational experiences. If you
enter another person’s name, label, or birth details, you confirm that you have a
proper basis to provide and use that information. Akashr may calculate derived
birth-chart and relationship data and send relevant context to its AI provider to
generate the experience you request. Adding a custom person does not create an
account for them. Their information is visible only to you unless a specific sharing
or connection flow clearly states otherwise. You remain responsible for the data you
enter about others and must remove it (or ask us to) if your basis for using it ends.
Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) attempt unauthorized access to the service or another
person’s data; (b) jailbreak, inject prompts into, manipulate, or extract hidden
prompts, system instructions, model parameters, reference material, or security
controls; (c) reverse engineer protected software except where that restriction
cannot lawfully apply; (d) scrape, automate, harvest, or bulk-extract content
without written permission; (e) bypass Credits, allowances, rate limits,
entitlements, trials, payment requirements, safety filters, privacy controls,
blocks, or account restrictions; (f) share or resell accounts, commit purchase or
refund fraud, or create accounts to evade enforcement; (g) transmit spam, malware,
or harmful content; (h) impersonate another person or misuse their information;
or (i) use the service unlawfully. These restrictions do not prohibit ordinary
product exploration, accessibility tools, your permitted exports, good-faith
security reporting, or activity protected by law.
Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any
kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of
merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or
free of viruses or other harmful components, and this extends to the
calculation, metering, and billing systems described under “Credits
and usage limits” and “Service reliability and system
degradation” above.
Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, right, or
remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian
Consumer Law. Subject to those rights and to the maximum extent permitted by law,
Akashr and its operators
shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or
punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service,
even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total cumulative
liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the greater
of (a) the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim or
(b) USD 50.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Akashr and its operators
from any claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable
legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the
service, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
Modifications to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material
changes by posting a prominent notice in the app or on the website, or by email,
at least 14 days before the changes take effect. When a change materially affects
your rights, responsibilities, data use, or safety disclosures, we may require you
to affirmatively accept the new version before continuing. We record the version,
time, locale, and app platform associated with that acceptance. If you do not agree
to a material change, you must stop using the service.
Termination
You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time by
contacting contact@akashr.com.
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately for breach of these Terms,
illegal activity, or conduct that harms other users or the service. Sections
that by their nature should survive termination — including disclaimers,
limitations of liability, indemnification, and governing law — will
continue to apply.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of
New South Wales, Australia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
You agree to first attempt informal resolution of any dispute by contacting
us at contact@akashr.com.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, either party may
seek relief in the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
General provisions
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining
provisions continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right
is not a waiver of that right. These Terms constitute the entire agreement
between you and Akashr regarding your use of the service and supersede any
prior agreements.
